This past weekend we have officially transitioned into spring time. Somebody should alert the weather because I don’t think it knows. Easter is just around the corner and the kids are back in school after taking their annual March Break, and Sudbury is offering some great events this week. Last week we focused on things for kids to do but, since the kids are back in school, this week we will be geared more towards fun events for adults to enjoy.
This may not fall under the category of “fun” but it will definitely make you feel good knowing that you’ve shared your blood and will probably save a life in the future. The Blood Donor clinic will be available to receive your blood all month.
All throughout March you’ll be able to enjoy the solo exhibition of Daniel Vallieres who presents a series of graphite animal studies. Vallieres has a deep appreciation of the natural world and shares his finding his calling as an artist.
This week is also a great week for people 50 and over who want to take part in a free exercise program. The STAND UP! Program helps to improve your balance, leg strength, and flexibility and it is completely free of charge.
Take some time to discover the stress relieving exercise of colouring books. This club is available throughout March and April and it is for adults only.
Looking something fun and new to do this week? Give climbing a try! ARC is offering Climbing Yoga lessons this week where you will be able to meet and get on the wall with other women climbers in the gym. You don’t have to have any previous experience!
Have you been seeing pictures of your friends enjoying a cup of wine and painting cool images? Now, it’s your turn! Paint Social is available throughout the rest of March and most of April in Sudbury.
It’s Comedy Night at Theater Cambrian. Take the time to go and support Mark Debonis who is a renowned Canadian comedian.
