3 St. Patrick’s Day Activities in Sudbury

Now that you know some facts about St. Patrick’s Day that you may not have known before, it’s time to celebrate! Green beer is the most common way of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, but if you’re not in the mood for any, Sudbury is offering a few different events that you can choose from in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
1. Bagpipe Lessons
What better way to celebrate the day of the Irish than to learn how to play bagpipes! On Wednesday, head down to the Polish Combatants Hall and bring your instrument or buy one at the first class, and enjoy some free lessons from the Sudbury & District Pipe Band. You don’t even need to know how to read music as the lessons are designed for beginners.
2. Paddy’s Day Dinner Dance
On March 12th The Irish Heritage Club’s Annual Dinner Dance is taking place! In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day you’ll be able to enjoy some great food, great music from The Irish Capers and performances by some amazing Irish Dancers! There is an entry fee so don’t forget to give them a call to RSVP.
3. St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon
What better way to spend the afternoon after a night of dancing than to continue celebrating at Club 111 St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon! Their annual luncheon will feature live music, entertainment, a sandwich lunch, refreshments, and cake. Tickets are $7.00.
Just because we’re not Ireland doesn’t mean we can’t party like the Irish!
