To celebrate the winter months, Christy A. Smith’s “Snow” exhibition will run in January, featuring more than 20 plein air paintings and pastel drawings. Tara Proctor’s first exhibition, “Throw My Eyes,” is also on now. Find here a gorgeous display of graphite-drawn animals, trees, cityscapes and more.
Canada country artists Brett Kissel and Tim Hicks come to Sudbury this month, along with Spanish Heavy Metal band Saratoga. Locally, there are numerous acts playing throughout the month such as Fortunate Losers, Borgeous, Serbsican, Steve Aoki and The Giving Tree Band.
If you’re into dinner theatre, don’t miss the smash-hit comedy Beer for Breakfast, originally featured in the 2015 Dinner Theatre Festival.
Science North opens its Escape Room January 20th, 2017. The game lasts 45 minutes, during which time players must uncover clues to unlock doors, solve puzzles and, ultimately, escape the room! The theme: Escape from CortX Laboratories.
